Opera House

Without doubt Sydney's most recognised structure. Built on Bennelong Point at the eastern side of Sydney cove looking north out over the Harbour. The structure was completed in 1973 and is home to many of Sydney's finest events and performers. Contains a number of concert halls, theatres and restaurants

Harbour Bridge

The Sydney Harbour Bridge was completed in 1932 and spans Port Jackson providing a link between the north and south of the city. The Bridge is 53 metres tall ( 175 feet ) and spans 503 metres ( 1,670 feet ). It carries eight lanes of traffic, two lanes of railway track and a bicycle and public footway. One of Australia's most famous celebrities, Paul Hogan, began his working career as a rigger on the Bridge. A great way to view the Bridge and harbour is to visit the south east pylon that is now open as a tourist attraction. You can enter the pylon from the walkway located on the eastern side of the bridge. The pylon is open 10 am - 5 pm seven days and week and entry is $ 2.

Centrepoint Tower

Located between Pitt, Castlereagh and Market streets is Sydney's tallest structure at 304.8 meters ( 1,006 feet ). There is an observation deck and restaurant located at the top. The observation deck is open 9 am - 9pm seven days a week and cost about $ 15 per person. The restaurant accepts bookings on 9282-9292.

Queen Victoria Building

Bounded by Market, Druitt, George and York streets this 5 story building stands as an excellent example of Victoria architecture. Built in 1898 and refurbished in 1985 it now contains a huge array of up market shops and eateries.

Bondi Beach

Located about ten kilometres east of the City is one of Sydney's most famous locations. Very popular with all visitors to Australia. Easily accessible via public transport.

Darling Harbour 

Located to the west of the CBD proper with huge selection of shops and places to eat. Is home to many attractions that are some of the most popular in Sydney.

Located between Circular Quay and the Harbour Bridge is the historic area know as the Rocks. Many of the colonial buildings remain containing a variety of shops and restaurants.
