Located to the west of Darling Harbour on Harris
Street Ultimo. The Powerhouse Museum caters for
technology and science exhibits incorporating a
significant amount of hands on activity. Adults $ 8,

Located in the north of Darling Harbour. It houses a
vast array of Australian maritime history as well a
number of fascinating exhibits, including a Russian
Foxtrot submarine. Open 9.30am to 5pm every day ( except

Rocks. The museum is open daily from 10am to 6pm. Admission

Mint
Macquarie St, Sydney.
The Sydney Mint is one of Sydney's oldest public
buildings having once served as the Sydney branch of
London's Royal Mint. The Mint houses collections of gold
and silver from coins to trophies some of which date back
to 500 BC. The Mint is open every day from 10am to 5pm.
Observatory

Housing a vast array of exhibitions, films, talk and
night viewing of the heavens. The Observatory is open
every day from 10am - 5pm

The Dennis Wolanski Library of the Performing Arts is
open Monday through Friday ( except public holidays ) at
the Opera House on Bennelong
Point between 10 am and 6 pm.
The State or Mitchell Library is located in Shakespeare Place on the corner of Macquarie and Bent
Streets on the eastern side of the city.
